OUR RESEARCH - SURFACE ENGINEERING

PVD COATINGS

Coatings made by physical vapor deposition may be used as protective and functional coatings. We have studied a variety of PVD coatings for tribological application, including diamond-like carbon, molybdenum disulfide and hard nitride, carbide or boride coatings. We also study PVD coatings as a top coat for duplex surface engineering.
